The report goes on to state that Ferdinand is feeling better following his early exit in Paris, with the former United defender set to jet into Istanbul to provide analysis on the must-win clash for Erik ten Hag's men.
Speaking at the time of Ferdinand's mysterious exit, Laura Woods said: "Rio would be here to chat about Manchester United now, but we had to let him go [due to] unforeseen circumstances. He is OK. Don't worry."
